Hey! Let’s get to know you a little better. Introduce yourself and tell us more about you as an artist.
Hello! My name is Charlotte, I’m an illustrator and designer based in Oxfordshire. I love to create colourful art around feminism, self-love and celebrating our bodies!
What was the inspiration behind your collection?
I wanted to create designs that made you laugh a little, something that fills you with joy! Life isn’t always easy, and I wanted to create something that would make someone smile on a bad day.
Tell us a bit about how the design process worked?
I spent some time looking at some of my past work to see what I enjoyed drawing, and what other people loved about my work. This included looking at subjects, patterns and colour schemes, based on this I came up with a few different designs and narrowed down my favourites.
I always have a little notebook to quickly sketch ideas down when I think of them, then I usually come back to them to see if they still spark some creativity.
If you could describe your collection in 3 words what would they be?
Cheeky, Vibrant and Fun!
What’s your favourite design from the collection and why?
Tough one! I think I would have to choose the Vulva Flower, because it's vibrant, and everyone thinks it’s a normal flower until they are up close!
