Hey! Let’s get to know you a little better. Introduce yourself and tell us more about you as an artist.
Hey! I’m Kitty and I am the artist behind OMG Kitty, a art prints homeware brand that began life in 2020. My artworks vary in content but are generally unified by a soothing, calm colour palette and slight retro feel.
What was the inspiration behind your collection?
The collection for Skinnydip was inspired by a recent favourite artwork - the Cowboy - and then, because a lot of my work includes botanical elements and also a sun or a moon, I wanted to reflect that in one of my designs for the collection so that’s how the botanical themed phone case came about.
Tell us a bit about how the design process worked?
For my design process, I usually have an idea in mind of the content and how I want things to look. I will sketch out my ideas to form a rough plan. I then start drawing out my elements on my iPad before refining, arranging everything into a final composition and choosing a colour palette.
